Three-day festival and marketplace in partnership with Dupont Underground.
Barrio Editorial transformed Dupont Underground for three days, showcasing artists and creatives through pop-up shops, art installations, talks, and parties.
“Tinglao” comes from the Spanish word tinglado, capturing the spirit of a lively, unpredictable gathering. Tinglao! aimed to reignite DC's creative scene post-isolation, providing a space for shared experiences.
Artist Flyers
Our intention with Tinglao is pure and simple - To bring together the brands, artists and creatives that Barrio loves in an intimate and interactive environment that is Best Understood when Experienced. To push that feeling we encouraged artists to make their own flyers, inviting their audiences personally to the event.
Behind the Scenes
We built 8-foot white walls in the tunnels, allowing artists the freedom to create interactive installations that invited audiences to engage directly with their work.
